Meet the Founder
While on a theatrical pursuit Brittany experienced the death of a friend in a fatal accident a few blocks from her school that forced her into a church for his funeral and afterward she felt that it was time to find out who God really was. She saw a mime ministry go forward at a church she was visiting and she had never felt more close to God in that moment, so this began her journey of the mime ministry. Brittany is currently the founder of the worship arts conference RESURRECTING THE GIFT that is successfully going into year 9 in March of 2024 that features instructors and participants from all over the state of Mississippi. In 2018, the conference lead to Brittany starting Resurrecting the Gift ministries, a leadership ministries consisting of mime, dance, and flags.
Brittany Moman, a servant of God's word and a native of Jackson, MS has been cultivating her gift of mime for approximately fifteen years. Growing up Brittany always wanted to dance and express herself artistically, so at the age of 10, her artistic journey began when she was accepted into POWER APAC Performing Arts School with an emphasis in Theatre Arts. From there, Brittany was casted into many school productions and was able to express herself in theatrical ways. Although, she wasn't aware at the time being so young, her theatre background and all the things she learned would later aid her into what God would later call her to do.
Brittany’s home church is Nu Vision Worship Center in Jackson, MS under Apostle Charles Richardson and Prophetess Gwendolyn Richardson. She is the current leader of S.O.U.N.D mime ministry and has had the pleasure to work with mime ministries all over the state and conferences including currently Greater Antioch M.B. Church, Zion Travelers M.B. Church, Life Changers Community Fellowship Church, Light of the World Ministries, Community Empowerment Church, New Jerusalem Preschool, Abundance of Grace and Canton School of Arts and Sciences. She also has been a special guest facilitator at the J.U.M.P conference and Worship My Pain Away Conference. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree at Liberty University with a concentration in youth and family ministries.
Brittany has a passion for youth that want to unlock their God-given gifts and teach them how to use them for the building of God’s kingdom. She teaches the foundation of mime along with behind the paint and hopes to bring as many souls to Christ as possible while on this life’s journey. When Brittany is not ministering the art of mime and sharing Gods word, she enjoys reading, traveling, puzzles, spending time with her family, and technology. Her favorite scripture is Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
